Our Tier 3 Datacenter
Our infrastructure is housed in a Tier 3 Datacenter. This facility meets the highest standards of reliability, redundancy, security and disaster tolerance.
This state of the art facility is located in Long Island, NY and has achieved SAS70 Type II certification.
Many smaller companies claim “Tier1” facilities and try and confuse their clients. When in actuality they are in smaller, outdated, less secure datacenters.

The facility is fully N+1 redundant and provides space for co-location and dedicated hosting, and is command central for the management of LAN and WAN infrastructure, Network Security Services, and Disaster Recovery Solutions.
Access to the Data Center is restricted to authorized personnel by two-factor authentication including biometric scanners. All entrances and common areas are monitored 24×7 via closed-circuit cameras. Clients requiring physical access to their equipment must comply with security checks and policies before their staff can be permitted into the Data Center.
Redundancy is built into the heating and cooling systems to maintain a consistent and optimal environment in the Data Center. An FM200 fire suppression system is in place to minimize risk in the unlikely event of fire. Cabinets are individually monitored to manage heat, humidity and power consumption.
The center has on-site redundant power sources and redundant back-up generators, including a multiple-day fuel supply on-site. The generators and failover systems are regularly tested to ensure a seamless transition in the event of an emergency.
The primary UPS’s are redundant 225kva Liebert 600tSeries featuring redundant battery cabinets and a full maintenance bypass allowing for service and upgrades without interruption.
Generator backup services are provided by tandem Detroit Diesel 500KW diesel generators. Generator power is activated automatically in the event of a grid failure by the transfer switch. The interim load has capacity for over ninety minutes by the UPS, however this is not necessary as the generator is active and up to speed within just 16 seconds of a power failure.
Our Data Center is designed on Cisco multilevel architecture. Redundant Fiber Optic connections–including dual OC 48 & OC 12 connections from Verizon, OC 12 Sonet from AT&T, OC 3 from Cablevision Lightpath and GIGe from Keyspan, each entering the building through separate trenches.
